Bhutan

Bhutan is a hilly country located in the south-eastern slopes of the Himalayas. The Kingdom is mostly covered by steep and high mountains with rivers flowing in between the valleys. The area of Bhutan rises from 300 ft above sea level in Southern Bhutan to snow peaks of 24,000+ ft in the Northern region. Bhutan is the only carbon-negative country in the World. It is known for its monasteries, fortresses (dzongs) and dramatic landscapes that range from subtropical plains to steep mountains and valleys.
